Express Burn Plus is a premium optical disc burning suite that can write, burn, and copy audio, video, and data discs, including Blu-ray video and data discs. It has an easy-to-handle user interface and integrates with other utilities from NCH, including both freeware and shareware.
Pros
Quick start wizard: A quick start feature lets you create and burn any kind of disc quickly. If you don't want it to launch with the app, a checkbox dismisses it.
ISO: Express Burn Plus also creates ISO files and burns ISO/Joliet, UDF, and Hybrid data discs.
CD-TEXT: Burning Audio CDs in Session at Once mode enables CD-TEXT. We could enter CD-TEXT details in a dialog.
Command line: A command line option allows Express Burn Plus to integrate with other apps.
Cons
Help file: Although Help buttons are found in various places around Express Burn Plus, the Help menu lists Help contents, and the program folder includes a folder labeled Help, no Help file could be found.
Nothing special: Perhaps our biggest concern with Express Burn Plus is that it offers little to distinguish itself from many capable freeware disc burning utilities, other than a price tag of nearly $50.
Bottom Line
Express Burn Plus is a capable tool that includes most of the features we expect in a premium disc burning tool. But similar apps are available for considerably less, including freeware. As always, try (and try others) before you buy.
